Learning Experiences
I practice learner-centered design by building learning experiences around the takeaways that are most important and relevant to target learner/s. I use outcomes as guideposts for shaping course content and creating assessments that are meaningful, relatable, and directly applicable, thus encouraging intrinsic motivation.
My work is guided by the following theories, principles, and frameworks:

-
Adult Learning Theory
-
Backwards Design
-
Learner-Centered Design
-
Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
-
User Experience Design (UX) principles
-
High Impact Practices (HIPs)
